Oceans , such as forests , capture emissions of carbon is a phenomenon that can endanger the survival of coral habitats and threatened animals that live in the emissions of carbon dioxide generated by human activity . An average increase of almost 30 % since the industrial revolution began its journey , over 200 years ago. And that by the end of the century can reach 150% .
